The human body is like a machine. Whatever energy is produced will also mean that there will be some residue. This residue will in turn react with almost anything it finds in the human body & will ultimately result in some form of illness. The initial process however cannot be curtailed, but the immune system can be made strong enough to fight off those ill effects. Natural antioxidants found in vegetables and fruits are the best form of antioxidants. But since the diet most of us have does not include enough antioxidants, supplements for antioxidants need to be taken.
A rich source of antioxidants are:
- Whole food: Whole grain cereals, and basically food grains of rich color are the best antioxidants.
- Vegetables and Fruits: As with food grains, veggies and fruits having rich colors are good antioxidants.
Taking antioxidants in one form only is not enough. A variety of vegetables and fruits need to be included in our daily diet. Since, this is not a feasible option, considering today's lifestyle taking antioxidant supplements is a sure way to ensure that the daily requirement of antioxidants is met.
